The Reclaimed Douglas Fir Line is made from fir taken from torn-down houses and barns across the Douglas Fir county. The heavily distressed look of this line comes from the nails and staples that were in the
wood in its original form. If the lumber is sanded down to avoid these typical holes and marks the feel of the finished product would not be the same.
